lcat, where do you live? You can get golden syrup from a place like World Costplus Market, I am told by our British nanny.
I made them with honey because I didn't want to make a special trip. And they were still delicious. Ridiculously buttery.
NOM. And my improvised recipe for shepherds' pie was fab. Consomme makes a great gravy.
I took a sleeve of sugar cookie dough out of the freezer and put it in my back pocket. Then did some planting and stuff. Now I can't find the sleeve. I swear to god, my brain is working funny. How could I possibly lose such a thing?
I watched the Rocky Mountain Roller Girls squeak past the Oly Rollers to win the championship in a nailbiting bout. 146 to 147!
Oh wow, I just tried Annie's mac and cheese for the first time, and it is SO much better than regular Kraft. Nom.
You know, when I was Kraft, it's got to be Kraft. I like good mac and cheese (like almost anything that includes "cheese" in the name!), but the blue box just hits the spot sometimes.
Jesse's favorite president was Taft.
Pass it on!
Annie's now makes a Kraft-Alike mac and cheese. Except it's like 5 times as expensive. Probably because it's ORGANIC! I think the box is even blue.
Mac and cheese is one of the things I still have left from when I joined Costco a couple of years ago. It's still good!
The last time I thought I was craving Kraft, I was really disappointed once I'd actually cooked it! It just wasn't the same as I remembered.
(I do, however, make the Annie's stuff according to Kraft directions, i.e. with 1/2 a stick of butter. I've made it according to the Annie's box before and, um, no. It needs the butter.)
