Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

That's great news, dcp!

Art Crawl!!!

Liese - Javier Castellano on Prince Will I Am moved off the rail into the path of Romp (ridden by Martin Garcia) - Romp almost went down, Garcia came out of the saddle - somehow they both got back together but in the mix - Romp bounced out into A U Miner (ridden by Borel). Borel clearly thought that his horse could have won - as it is the Stewards disqualified Prince Will I Am moving Gabriel's Hill to 2nd and AU Miner to 3rd.

My favorite Blood Horse headline: Flay's Filly Fillets Foes

Love it.

(Awww, ABC just showed an ad for Henry the Navigator featuring babies sired by him - including an adorable half-brother to Smarty Jones.)

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I'm so scattered. Of course I agree with Beverly: great news, dcp! Yay!

Art Crawl!!!

Breeder's Cup: Interesting, a daughter of More than Ready won the Juvenile Fillies Turf and a son of More than Ready won the Juvenile (Colts/geldings) Turf. Both ridden by Garrett Gomez and trained by Todd Pletcher. Rough Sailing slipped on the first turn and is being taken off by the horse ambulance. The track vet says he has some swelling on his right front. (Sadly, this was the horse ridden by Rosie Napravnik - she rode Informed Decision in the Filly & Mare Sprint yesterday.)

BTW, did I mention that the winner of the "Marathon" is trained by a woman? And he has a goat as a companion.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have mild envy of you Jesse for getting to buy jackets and coats on a regular basis.

Heh. Coats are awesome now, but will soon become a painful necessity...

Art Crawl!!!

Breeder's Cup: 2 races; 2 injured horses - they had to euthanize Rough Sailing - he'd broken his shoulder. Atta Boy Roy - just taken off in an ambulance. They'll radiograph him but the vet believes that he's injured a suspensitory ligament. (That doesn't sound right.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, I always love hearing about racehorses with companion goats.

Eta: poor injured horses.

Art Crawl!!!

I know! They were asked if they'd go run Eldaafer in Europe and the trainer said it would depend on if they could bring his goat.

More Breeder's Cup: Looks like Atta Boy Roy is okay. Whew!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, wow, sumi, that`s craziness.

And yeah, I love my lifetime license, although I`m pretty sure I will not look like my picture by the time I`m 65! Arizona is all about the minimalism in governance.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

My brother helped me fix the raised beds and now I'm HAPPY AS A LITTLE GIRL!

Now I have to find an awesome sugar cookie recipe to make his reward.

It remains a gorgeous day here in LA although we're assured rains are coming soon.
