Because books.

Oh man, I wish I could come with you to the first one, Tom.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Those both look excellent Tom! Have an awesome time.

I still haven't made it off the couch.

I'm beginning to wonder if I am going to today. I suspect going out of the apartment is right out of the question.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm off the couch, but only because my laptop ran out of juice and I had to bring it back to my desk to charge. DH took D to the children's museum, so I'm thinking I may just go back to bed.

Because books.

I've already been to the airport and back, with a stop off at a Fresh Market. Now I would like to go back to bed, but we have to drop Sara at a one-day dance workshop in a little while.

Me too!

I went over to the mall to pick up a package, and I wasn't in the mood to stick around...but now I realize I have to go back there again! Bah!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I. Hate. Traffic.

I left for class 15 minutes later than I usually do, but that should have gotten me here on time instead of the usual 15 minutes early. Instead, I got held up for five minutes at McD's waiting for a damn smoothie (five minutes!!), and then got stuck waiting for a train for another 10 minutes, and then construction held me up for another five. I ended up walking into class 15 minutes late, the latest I've been to any class so far this year. Sucks.

In preparation for HP7, I've been sending my fellow library school classmates the link to the best HP library story ever.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Colbert should go on Dancing With The Stars -- he's a great mover, and IIRC was a college cheerleader.

I'm gearing up to do some major reorganization/decluttering today and tomorrow. I've got some major work crews coming in next week and it's only going to help if they can do their work without tripping over stuff....

Guh. That might actually get me to watch!

Not sure about him being a cheerleader, though - I feel like that's something I would have known (as a fellow NU alum).

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I am in Chicago for the WFTDA championship. Live derby rocks!

HI!

I didn't get up until 10:30 today. I'm hoping that was enough sleep to stop the intermittent eyelid twitching that's been going on for the past week.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I went out! And did many errands, but not all of them. I had to come home for lunch.

I bought a coat which was half-off, but still kind of expensive, so I think I should go to Filene's Basement and Marshall's before I actually wear it, to be sure. Also there was a jacket I was IN LOVE WITH, but isn't practical to be my main jacket, so I left it behind.
