I don't even wear wrap dresses or skirts because they make me so nervous. But saris are so pretty.
I've worn saris twice now. The time I was wrapped by an actual Indian person (as opposed to Emily and me) I never felt exposed or even potentially exposed at all. It's far more comfortable in that regard than a wrap skirt.
You know, cupcakes are awesome. You know what'd be even more awesome? Cupcakes with little cupcakes on top!

The saris are super comfortable, but the underskirt and half shirt are thin and your midriff really is exposed. I'll wear a salwar kameez today instead.
Those are really adorable. I want one.
The parents and teachers association of my old high school once put on a fashion show including saris. My mother was prevented from wearing one (by one of her best friends) on the grounds that they "wanted to show that white women could wear them too".
But he got *so* many women reassuring him of his sensitivity, that maybe he was doing it right...
I roll my eyes forever. Goddamn Sensitive Men (tm).
Is also Guy Fawkes Day!
It is on my list of things to do in life to be in India during Holi. It looks EPIC.
If we'd missed our November deadline due to visa stuff, we were going to try for Holi. As it is we'll make the camel fair in Jaipur. (5 days OMG!!!)
I would've worn my Indian shirt today, but it's cold.
I just ordered this knitting organizer thingy - I'm very excited about it.
