The DH is now sick with a new ick, but at least I was able to convince him to see a doctor. He was supposed to go to NYC tomorrow for a week, but the friends with whom he is staying are pregnant, so he can't go sick.

No sticks. I was the one, though, to point out that he couldn't go to NYC to be a guest in someone's house (she's pregnant with twins!) while he had the plague. Impossible to argue that point, really.
