Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Because books.

Riding. Crop. Good god, that makes me happy.

I hope she's okay, Consuela. That's a rough day for both of you.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Connie, let me know if I can do anything, please.

What's everybody's plan to be non-sedentary today?

I will bartend for 8+ hours. I was going to go for a run, but I'm more wiped out from last night's rehearsal than I thought I would be. So.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

What's everybody's plan to be non-sedentary today?

Incidentally, while collecting that link, I was offered the observation that C is for capybara: [link]

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I walked up to the state capitol to wave protest signs and chant slogans. While I was there, I met: [link]

Awesome!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

What's everybody's plan to be non-sedentary today?

The same thing I do every day, Pinky.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have done nothing to deserve that degree of Holmesian fanservice, but I will certainly take it.

I think Perkins shopped a Locher's, and I've gotten a pretty nice top there saying "I like it rough." I just got a note from them saying they're discontinuing their tops, so there's a sale. Drives them from pretty expensive to...kinda expensive. eta: Never mind--just about everything is sold out.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Best wishes for your mom, Consuela.

Ignoring the fire alarm seems like a bad precedent.
The exact instruction was "ignore the fire alarm for the rest of today unless there is an annoucement to leave." I think it'll be okay.

...my high school had fire alarms all the time due to construction. Then one day it was REAL--and we'd already started to leave, when the alarm stopped and we went back in...and someone ha to come knock on the door and say "no really, go, real fire!!!"

I love the option for "unladen swallow" as a question!!
