Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Because books.

Every day you don't bleed to death is a win!

So weird, because S. just ran past me toward the bathroom with blood dripping from his nose.

That'll wake you up.

Twitter revealed to Birgitta Jónsdóttir, a member of Iceland's parliament, that the feds were seeking all of her Twitter communications. Facebook did not,

The difference is that Twitter challenged a gag order meant to prevent that notification. Google & other companies have notified members when they were subpoenaed, but AFAIK gag orders weren't involved in those instances. Wikileaks called for Google & Facebook to say whether they were subpoenaed as well, and I don't think there's been any response, which is... troubling.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Holy crap. Yesterday, pizza and cheesecake. Today, the rest of the cheesecake and a free bottle of cognac.

You guys can tell me; I promise I won't flip out. I've died and gone to heaven or slipped into a multiverse or something, haven't I?

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

What's everybody doing for their Onerous Task today?

I called the doctor for a third time to try to get an appointment, and for the third time was unable to make an appointment -- their office is closed all day today, due to last night's snow. Augh. Just write me a frelling prescription already!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

ZJ, go to the light! Or stay away from the light! I'm not sure which!
