You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have a purr-monster on my lap right now. When I get home, she gets all impatient waiting for me to sit down so she can sit on my lap.

I need to find something to do with the buttermilk I got on Saturday

Fried chicken. Any chicken really. I made chicken pot pie and I marinated the chicken overnight in buttermilk before I baked it. Yum.

You're going to grow old with your fancy new opera blog friends!!

Did I tell you I'm getting complimentary "press" tickets for the actual performance? Madness.

See? I knew you'd already left me so I started to dream about goats and acreage.

(That is very cool, though. Happy you're getting to live the high life!)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Suzi - I have used vistaprint.com a bunch and they rock and put out nice stuff and very affordable. They probably won't look like announcements with the foil and whatnot, but they have some nice stuff.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Yay msbelle! Much interview~ma to you.

My cat's orange and white. When I got him, I asked the shelter people about adult cats (hard to place generally) and then for particularly social and cuddly ones. Leifur's the one I went home with. I don't think they suggested any of the black cats. When I'm ready for cat no. 2 I'll have to see if there are any black ones who seem compatible.

Do I want this dress, or would the red make me look too washed out: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't like that red on my monitor, Perkins, but it might be okay in real life.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's a really cute dress. Even if the red is not great on you (I'm not sure, reds are so tricky), the blue at the neckline would help, right?
