Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Onerous tasks completed! I cancelled the automatic renewals on all our magazines that we no longer want, cancelled a doctor's appointment for DH and made an appointment at the vet for Cody.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just jumped through all sorts of registration hoops for a $5 card. Now Starbucks will stalk me.

And I can't get brekkie because I have a meeting in 6.

Hmm.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay for unofficial tasking! You can blame sj for your productivity. Yesterday (in bitches, I think) she mentioned she had some stuff to do and so did I! Yeah, shower is on my list too. I haven`t done task three yet, but I did feed and water the birds which I wasn`t going to do because it`s cold and snowy. But I went out to take out the actual trash instead of the recycling I accidentally put in the trash and I saw that their food really was low and I remembered that I feed them because it`s cold and snowy. So pleasant task achieved because now I am eating breakfast and there are a multitude of birds to watch.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Is today an onerous task day? 'Cause I've got one on my list...

Ugh, doctor's office is crazy backed up today. I've been waiting here an hour and haven't even had my sono yet. Maybe I'll go into labor just to relieve the boredom...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think a number of Buffistas need this mouse pad: [link]

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It is not actually an onerous task day. But the onerous tasks did not wait for the next day! Your task should not wait for the next day either.

Librarian Warlord

The cleaning lady is here, so my onerous tasks are being done by someone else. That's my story and I'm ignoring the other onerous tasks.

Okay, hivemind, time to decide if I am a bad person: This afternoon when I take the dog to the vet, I am having her chipped. My DH has expressed to me numerous times that he is against this. In my defense, I worry about her and her beagle nose leading her astray. The DH hates the sound of tags, so he has ruled against her having a ID tag. She has a collar with her name and our telephone number, but he takes it off of her all the time, and I have often not noticed when I've let her out the door into the (fenced) yard.

So, I am thinking what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Until I tell him, and then I'll be in trouble.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It is not actually an onerous task day. But the onerous tasks did not wait for the next day!

Should we have them more often?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Why doesn't he want her chipped?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Well, Sparky, if he doesn't like tags and he doesn't keep the collar on then he doesn't have much room to gripe.
