It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Watching trash tv and playing fetch with avon and a rubber band. He's going on two hours with this thing. Not counting last night, when he espied the rubber band holding a sheaf of index cards, grabbed it with his teeth, jumped off the coffee table and jogged down the hallway and into the office with the index cards hanging from his mouth. I would have stopped him sooner but I had to get the camera!

He's still kittenish in age, yeah? Loki's gonna be two and...I'm glad the new iPod has a camera, so I can document some of the shit he pulls. Including the crying at the door. And the paper shredding.

Art Crawl!!!

I fell asleep and when I woke up I couldn't tell if it was still Sunday evening or in the middle of the night. I am a little relieved that it is, in fact, still Sunday evening.

My cat is complaining about her food. She is on a prescription diet now and was fine with it for about a week and now doesn't seem to consider it good enough.

Avon is ten months old (or so) and indefatigable. He even invented a new game (he thinks). It's called "Midnight Fetch." The game is pretty much as it sounds, except it MUST take place about 30 minutes after we go to bed.

I think he's explained the principles of the game to my cats, except they've been playing midnight chase. Running across the bed seems to an integral part of it.

I still have to lock up the kitten (9 months) at night or he pounces on my butt at 2am.

We are watching Punkin Chunkin on the Science channel. I love crazy backyard science dudes, but I also want them to be all housed by a team of 12 year old girls. mr. flea: "I guess you just found your Girl Scout project."

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha. That would be an awesome project for your scouts!

I got jack all done today. Watched a lot of football then was all headachey and menstrual so I took a bath and lay down to read. Two hours later...

On the plus side, I`d already started the all day spaghetti sauce in the crockpot, so it is at peak deliciousity now. But it is too late to cook the spaghetti squash and turkey meatballs that was supposed to go with it. So we`re having the sauce over (Schwans) pieogies tonight and will have the spaghetti squash tomorrow.

But I am menstrual and the SO is sick again and we are both pissy about it. We just can not win. This break has been uber long and yet we cannot enjoy any of it. Frustrating.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I need something to track him pulling shit like fighting about baths and bedtime, he's going to start losing computer and ds time because of it.

Would it work better for him to have to earn computer and ds time by completing things, rather than lose privileges for not getting stuff done?

bon, have you already started your new job?

I am not warm at all. The 39 degree temp is chilly in an un-insulated house.
