Our wings are not tired.

That's helpful; thanks, Jesse!

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Thanks, msbelle, for the prayers. I really appreciate it.

Come on, Jess's baby girl!

Southlaaaand. I'm so excited for it to come back.

I joined a gym and then napped all afternoon. I'm like a perfect New Year's cliche.

Yes Kat back to school tomorrow. Thank all things. Well, technically he did the reading log, but it is messy and lame short answers. I told him I would be more specific on how homework should be done also, he has to go on errands with me from now on. Both yesterday and today I ran out on short errands and left him with the bb, both times he let the bb lock up making it unusable.

Bite your tongue, msbelle!

Oh, but that reminds me. We have committed to going to see a road game this year. Don't know where, will depend on schedules, but ranking our potential choices we are hoping for New Orleans, Dallas, Memphis, or something east coast. NO and Dallas are my top two.

I kinda wish I'd gotten more done this 3 days weekend, but that's because I'm definitely feeling on the mend and so the maybe-gonna-cry exhaustion that held me in its grip since Friday is fading from memory. There was no way I could have managed more than I did, and it is kinda a miracle I got done what I did. Which is to say, got the usual weekend chores done and my regular swim schedule kept, but there was no burning through giftcards for clothes and hardware. I need to buy some weatherstripping, but even being out today for TJs and Target was more than enough.

Did throw in another load of laundry. And gas up the car, at least.

That is plenty, sarameg.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, that sounds like plenty! I didn't do shit this weekend, and it's been great. Because I am super lazy.

Besides that door thing, I took out the trash and unloaded the dishwasher. And made lunch, I guess that counts.

I don't anticipate adding a whole lot to that list before day's end.
