Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know if it was just this bass player and the genre, but his hip roll was amazing. Put that together with the fingering, and home run.

Even the straight guy we were out with (no homo) was calling it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The bass player really holds the band together, but in a non-flashy way. I have thought a lot about this.

In other news, I was thinking about 1/1/11, and realized I haven't paid my rent yet. Let this be a reminder to others!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

So far, 2011 has been filled with lots of sleep (I went to sleep well before midnight and slept until 6:30) and very cute cats. I approve.

Flying home! Off to the airport. See you on the flip side.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, well, I married a bass player and it worked out pretty well for me.

Of course I also am a bass player, so I don`t know what you can infer sexually for me. I also did not ever get tail because of playing bass in a band, but my context might be ever so slightly different than yours. The SO did get hit on even in that context, so maybe you`re right.

Anyway, yes, bassist absolutely holds the band together, good or bad.

I don`t know what to do with myself this morning. SO`s alarm went off despite no actual classes today. He`s still asleep, but of course I am up. It is bitter cold. -13. I stoked the fire and put on the kettle. I need to take it outside to thaw the birdbath, but it is so cold I don`t know if it`s worth it.

Usually by the time I emerge into the New Year, the Rose parade is on.

YAY home. I hope this flight goes more smoothly.

Ok, I can futz around for half an hour. Good morning! Is Noah excited about the Winter Classic? He can watch it in his Pens jersey. (Of which D. requests a photo, btw, he was very pleased to hear about it.) K. had to correct me over on Facebook on who was playing! Oops. I blame midnight. And the booze. But I can`t blame the booze on Facebook, `cause disapproving donors! Hee.
