Perkins- Better off Ted is hysterical if that's an option. That show is right up there with Arrested Development in my love.
Sarameg- i'm truly impressed by your swimming fortitude. I'm a fairly serious swimmer and i only swim a mile at a time, and even then usually stop for water at least once. Lately, with the ick, i don't even bother trying to swim, just sit in the hot tub until i get dizzy.
my travel section on the 101 list is very limited this year. no big trips in the foreseeable future.
I've met Grace, but not at home.
Anything with music, msbelle? Listen to new (to you) bands? Make playlists?
Maybe some local things with mac, like going to three different museums or other places?
music is a good one, but I am still slowly making my way through all the music I added to my iPod pre-mac. I have tons that I have not listened to.
Museums are good, as are local things, must think about that.
You met the old Grace. Not the new improved super active Grace. She's like a totally different kid.
Other ideas: start or join a book group? anything around small things like taking cloth bags to the grocery store?
I like Amy's museum idea.
Also, I looked at my 101 list. I've done most of it! Inadvertantly, but done nevertheless. Except writing notes to friends and family. I suck at that.
Plus, notice, I didn't say that you had to come to us to meet Grace.
The only time I feel human with the ick is when swimming. OK, the first 5 laps or so are rough, but after that, I can forget I'm sick until I stop.
msbelle, meet Grace and see her walk, tantrum and giggle live. Really not to be missed. Neither are Noah's hyperverbal skills and utter exasperation at his sister who is FOLLOWING HIM. Got, he's a charmer.
I don't know if this applies to you, but my dad gets us annual memberships with the local museum he's on board with and it comes with discounted/free admission to a shitload of partners across the country. It allows Josh to take the boys to a crapload of places in B'ham (McWane center, Southern Museum of Flight, Huntsville NASA thing) and surrounds for damned near free. I think it is the NM Museum of Natural History in Cruces. Google them and if their partners ring your bell, let me know and we'll get you a membership.
Did you have any exercise on there?
I want to make a list now. The first thing I want to do is make a cool, durable advent calendar, I think.
