I just opened my property assessment. I had been all proactive in filing for the homestead tax credit, since that'll cap how much the assessment can rise in a year. Yeah, seems that doesn't really matter, seeing as how my assessment DROPPED by about $28K (and is almost $20K less than I paid.) Yay, recession? Mind you, houses here are still selling for what I paid or more, but well, at least my taxes should be lower (and thus my monthly payment) for the next 3 years until they reassess. And since I'm not planning on selling and I love the area, nonissue. But damned.

I don't think so. I'm just going by my queue, watching things I'd like to see but don't particularly want to put in my DVD queue. So far I've only watching the Bugs Bunny Road Runner Movie and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.
