I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oh, my god, what the hell are you people talking about?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Holy hell, y'all. I get back from the 'rents and try to skim/skip/catch up on Natter and this is what I wander in to??

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG I'm so itchy right now. ::shudder::

Even with the questionable conversation, I am so glad to be back home and back here. This holiday was not the best. I was sick and my mom was unnecessarily mean and I'm not even sure why. I need to be back to my home and my people.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Ugh, ChiKat- sucks to be sick on holiday, and especially with your mom being jerky.

It will not go down in history as a good holiday.

But, I am home and even slept through the night the past 2 nights which is the first in over a week. I am beginning to feel better both physically and emotionally.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was eight when the cockroach (again, not an LA roach, which I've never seen, but a Jamaican one) flew down off the ceiling and skittered down my neck and under my nightdress and ran down my back and my leg. I will remember that sensation forever. I saw it come at me, but there was nowhere to run to.

I think we're going up into the mountains tomorrow night for NYE. It had better not suck.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Did I ever tell you about the time I was in the outhouse and found a spider...in my underwear? Yeah, I firmly believe that the spider entered my unmentionables while I was, um, occupied, and did not in fact come with me to the outhouse. This is what I believe.
