Compassionately intolerant

Living over a liquor store that has the odd, nutrition free snacks, is a natural environment for mice. I had several over the years until I installed two 'buzzy' boxes. The sonic deterrents have really done the trick for us, which is a good thing considering how rubbish Bartleby is with wildlife.

Speaking of my liquor store abode, it's my 12 year apartment-o-versary!

It's amazing to me that I have lived here longer than anywhere I have lived in my life. Given the dramatic shift (to the good) in my relationship with my landlord, the fantastic views, massive space, perfect location and general coziness of the place, I am truly blessed.

Why the hell did iTunes have to switch its folder format? Figured out why I had to restore via import, music is now in a media folder. And of course, I copied the files over into the music one, and was wondering why I suddenly ate up 10Gb instead of 5 after reimport. Anyway, deleted extra, but lost my playlists. Might be able to restore from the external drive the music first lived on. Feh.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's just hard to gauge.

It's nearly impossible. I am glad he's safe, Liese.

I learned why my cat sometimes randomly meows toward the fridge and thereabouts

Puppycat is just looking for Narnia when she howls at cabinetry. I do NOT want to be proved differently either.

(Actually I think she just loathes a closed door.)

I give up.

Man, Owen really is going to take over the world. And Liv'll help.

When Grace was in hospital, I was wearing this sweater: [link] They put a visitor pass on me. It didn't come off. I took embroidery scissors to cut it off but ruined the sweater. I'm bereft enough to consider buying another. But the one I bought was $15 less.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I hate technology

I've been saying this regularly since about 2005. Nothing just *works*.

I almost (almost) wish I could claim mice as the reason for Percy randomly meowing loudly in rooms I'm not in. But I don't have mice. I have a needy emo cat who wants me to come a'running to pet him.

One, it's a pretty sweater and looks very useful.
