So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Thanks for the bite guard recs, erin! I've passed them along.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Bleah, my hands and nose are cold.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh! I just got a Christmas present from my cousin, and it's a GREAT picture of my parents and me, taken at her wedding. So nice to have a good recent picture of the three of us. Hooray.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Back from our East Bay jaunt and JZ has completely rearranged our bedroom to make room for Matilda's new, double decker (bottom area being play space) bed which is her present from her grandfather.

I took Matilda over for a playdate with EM - they did Shrinky Dinks - and then took Emmett out to a movie. Basically any movie, which turned out to be Gulliver. Which was...eh. Neither offensive nor amazing. Pretty much hit every beat you would expect from a Jack Black is Gulliver movie.

But it did have Amanda Peet and Emily Blunt in it, so there was that.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

But it did have Amanda Peet and Emily Blunt in it, so there was that.

And Jack Black. Who is my movie star boyfriend. (Yes, I just finished watching The Holiday , why do you ask?)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jack Black SUXXXX.

It's true.

Back from the North Coast.

Disappointing weather. But everyone there said it was better weather than where they'd come from. Absolutely amazing unlimited food and drink, though. Stuffed like a pig.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

ita, how's your laptop?

The Holiday was adorable, though!

Broken, tommy. The battery won't charge, and the screen is wonky. I'll have to see how much fixing it will run.

But at least I have access to the data accumulated. I'm behind in backup.

Grocery store spinach is not as good as local spinach, even local winter hothouse spinach. But by god, I wanted a spinach salad.
