I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I used to own a Gaggia Carezza (I had to lose it in the move). I used it daily in my office when I had a job and occasionally at home when I didn't. I bartered it to the producer of my album and as far as I know it's still working for him. However, it's an older model so it may be a little hard to find. I see some listings on Google Shopping but I didn't hit the links to follow through:

I have a ten-year-old espresso maker, sitting in my closet, unopened in its original box. It was supposed to be a gift for my sister who gave the same xmas list to both me and my brother-in-law.

JZ- I use a stovetop one like this

Ah! An Italian job! We have two which are our only coffee makers. Such delicious coffee! (I actually kind of like the french press better but had to stop using it after I burned myself terribly twice last year)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm a big fan of the Aeropress. People with better palates than mine tell me its brew is espresso-like. It won my heart by being by far the easiest to clean of any coffee making apparatus I have used.

Attempting this from iTouch... lisah , neighbor & I have plans that go as far as "booze and uhh..." so I'd be happy to entertain any proposals beyond that & include her.

Ok, not fast, but bearable . Maybe I'll get used to it when I get my own in a week or so.

Have you been to the ball drop at 34th before? It is MAGICAL!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

The kids are playing Wii again, but I'm planning on getting them out later today to move their bodies. My vote is to go to the outdoor skating rink in SM, but we'll see if that works out. I know DH has to take my MiL to get a chest X-ray. Is there a Sparky f2f in the works?

I'm waiting for the plumber right now. Our pipes are complaining after all those rains, and I'd rather clean them now than wait for the toilets to back up.

I sent an email a few days ago to your profile account, Burrell that had my cell # w/ the subject line F2F, and Kat mentioned the Skirball Center for this afternoon. I don't know how her kids are feeling. Anything outdoors certainly seems like a good idea. K just went down for a nap, so she'll be social in an hour or two.

OOo, that sounds promising, Sparky. OK.

I'm just about ready to kill the passive-aggressive coworker who has been answering his email with nothing but "It's lower down in the email" and "I'd not care to comment" today. Just answer the fucking question already.
