And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

I have a Tracfone, and it deducts minutes both when I make a call and when someone else calls me

Oh, d'oh. I thought it didn't, but sure enough: I are dumb. I hardly ever take calls on it so I probably misread the last time that came up.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I hardly ever take calls on it so I probably misread the last time that came up.

I generally keep mine off - unless I am in an actual situation, the only calls I receive are some kids who speak Spanish, and then people trying to talk to me about "My credit card account". Also, I frequently get text messages from Tracfone advising me of various offers - I think those do not count against the minutes.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Just woke up. Whoa, lots of snow. Well over two feet, I think.

I'm at work now. That was a rough two-block walk to the subway station.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am on a plane. Heading south, thank god. SO glad we didn't go to New England for Xmas.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Tom, how did you even FIND a working subway?? I turned on NY1 this morning and it looked like pretty much everything was shut down in Brooklyn.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Thanks for the birthday happies, even if I wasn't online to see them!

It's still blizzarding up Somerville way, and Harvard isn't closed, so I'm off to a more-exciting-than-usual walk to work. I shouldn't sneer at the chance to make some money, really, plus feel all smug about my Braving The Storm.

It's much easier to be Smug when you are dressed correctly for the weather.

Tom, how did you even FIND a working subway??

The subway is an open trench by you, but it's all underground where I am. Plus it's only three stops to work.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am so glad to have the day off! I'm pretty sure two of us were going to be in in my department, anyway. But of course, since I didn't do shit yesterday, that means I need to Do Things today.

Anyone have home-remedy thoughts for teeth grinding? My hygenist the other day said she saw wear, but couldn't tell if it was new or not, so I should pay attention in the mornings. Verdict: Hell yes, I grind. As I said to her, if there's a way to internalize stress, I haz it.
