I joined eHarmony a month ago on a $14.95/month membership. My second payment was pulled from paypal today. Ok, fine, just what should happen. BUT the jackholes also processed two payments of $134.85 from paypal. That is $269.70 coming out of my account the day after Christmas. Crap, crap, crap.
Called eHarmony and they apologized and refunded both transactions. That should be it, right? Hah. Paypal is connected to my bank account, so they have already pulled the $269.70 from my account and it will take until Wednesday, at the earliest, before they can reflect that as my paypal balance. Then I have to call again and ask for that money to be returned to my bank account.
I am so screwed. If I incur any overbalance charges, eHarmony better pay them.
That sucks completely, Suzi. You don't happen to have a Paypal debit card, do you? You could go to an ATM, get the cash out and then immediately re-fund your bank account?
I do not have a Paypal debit card. So freaking pissed off.
