May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

sara, I hope you have safe travels back to Baltimore. Are you going back tomorrow? Snow EVERYWEHRE.

Had a rocky bad morning, which was followed by yoga. THAT is the upside to having a jewish yoga teacher -- yoga on Christmas! We still have about half our gifts to unwrap. Noah was thrilled about his hockey jersey (liese, it's a Penguins jersey -- you're a Penguins fan, right?) and his big guy hockey stick and the puck and and and and and....

Yeah, SW just offered free flight changes for those flying to BWI through Sunday night. That's me, Sunday night. Great. Will wait and see. If my flight can land, I'll take it, even if I end up cabbing it home and getting my car later. Or swearing A LOT.

I do think I'm going to hit the Dollar store and pick up a broom I can pack in my checked bag. Cause I think I took that other broom out of the car.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay, Noah jersey! Yeah, we`re Pens fans in this house. The SO is, anyway, I`m Blackhawks first.

The Indian restaurant LIED, so I had a movie hot dog and saw the early show of How Do You Know? instead.

Trust my rage

My Christmas Eve ended sort of rough when I woke up puking in the middle of the night. However, it has only gotten better from there as I have watched the kids open tons of presents and enjoy everything. We have eaten our Christmas dinner and are now just relaxing. The kids are watching Nemo and I'm just chilling, hoping my stomach is back to normal. Unfortunately, Joe has not been able to call us due to the phone being out and Skype apparently not working.

Can Joe try gmail's video chat feature?

We watched THE Star Wars. mr. flea became a 9 year old boy before my eyes. We hope to keep the children from the knowledge of Jar-Jar forever.

I miss my family a bit.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Let's say, hypothetically, that last year I bought a pair of really good snow-mittens for Dylan that turned out to be too big, so I put them in a really really smart place where I'd be sure to look for them again this year.

Let's also say hypothetically that I've already looked through both closets and we're expecting almost a foot of snow tomorrow. Argh. Any suggestions?

Do you have a drawer or box of too-big clothes? I would have put them with that stuff, instead of with winter clothes generally.
