Carded on Christmas Eve? Seriously?
Sheesh. But travel safely, ita!
I have had Prosecco, and Chateauneuf du Pape, and two kinds of whiskey (it was a taste test!), plus awesome homemade clam chowder and homemade bread. And cake.
And then I came home and rolled out pie crusts and my college-age nieces raided my closet for clothes for a party. But the evening is not yet done, because we're going to 10:30 PM Mass. I'm exhausted already.
Margarita and tequila shot. Double, because why not?
Then pain meds. And maybe a nap or fic.lP lP
Man, someone in my stairwell has been burning incense every night this week and it is REALLY strong out there. Is this some kind of Christmas thing (Catholic, maybe?) or are they just trying to cover up THAT much pot?
Fic! Yuletide is supposed to go live in 49 minutes, right? Right?
Made it to BFFs house. Didn't leave until 7:30 (instead of the planned 6:15, but did anyone really think that would happen). Traffic was great, arrived in good time. Spent the day cooking and making homemade pirogis. Am now stuffed with Feast of the Seven Fishes (although we only actually do two) We're filling stockings and debating midnight mass.
Merry Christmas, Buffistas!
I took Noah to see the Magical Christmas Caroling Truck which is always fun: [link] even more so with a little kid.
Happy yuletide. My holiday card for all the Buffistas:

Food fight with grapes breaking out...
Had our family Christmas dinner. Which was quite nummy. All three of us did something help make it all delish. We toasted to grandma's memory and hoped she would be proud of the meal we cooked.
In California, our traditional Christmas Eve was spent at my dad's house. He has a party each year for family and close friends. I called and wished him a merry Christmas Eve.
Now i just need the kids to crash for the night so I can wrap the last two prezzies and fill their stockings.

Twenty minutes, now! I didn't sign up, but I picked up a pinch-hit on the 21st, and now I have SEVEN fics that people did as a thank-you waiting for me!
