Wait, make that 4 hours.

Ugh Suela, that sounds so hard.
sarameg, I had to take on the wrapping in two shifts. We went a bit overboard too--on the kids anyway. I had to keep telling myself that, other than at prezzie time, we're really not extravagant. I fear we didn't buy enough for my MiL however. That's bad. Will need to rectify somehow.
Being an adult kind of sucks sometimes.
Indeed.
So apparently no one but me is in the office today, and I just saw my boss's departure memo to her boss, and shit is about to get REAL. She assigned me a shitload of stuff off her plate. Which is classic good news/bad news. I'm going to have to remember how to work hard again!

Yeah, it seriously does.
I feel like we've gone overboard on the kids -- they each got 7 presents and they were things I bought all year long. In Noah's case, there's also a used hockey stick, cut down and a long sleeve hockey shirt he'd asked for that we had last year that was misplaced and is now washed and rewrapped.
I have actually more gifts for them but I am choosing to put them back into the gift hiding spot until their birthday. The most extravagant gift is one from my mom to me (a color Nook!)
We just don't have the $$ this year.
Well, we are getting ready to head out for the 5 hours drive. Ugh. I have traveling. I really do. I want a transporter beam.
The # of gifts this year is pretty small for all of us, but mac is the only one we need to worry about on that front. I think we have the right balance, not so few that he gets mad, not so many that he gets overwhelmed.
I'm not sure UPS wants me to have the main present from my parents. If I get it at all, it will be Christmas eve.
I'm having getting started issues today.
I have to go to target for diapers and groceries. But I don't feel inspired. Granted, I have an hour before they open.
