My *god* I've spent a huge hunk of today on the phone. And my video drivers crapped out right in the middle of a remote presentation. How slick.
I have to do a self-evaluation now that I'm a real girl. But that's what stands between me and bonus, so I'll work out a way.
When I was at TJ's today, I saw a woman in her mid to late fifties rocking a mini skirt with a slit. I wanted to fist bump her and flip the bird to What Not To Wear. She looked excellent.
I have a quiet house! The kids are off to see TSO - we were offered free tickets 3 hours before show time. Now if only I didn't have a headache. Geeeesh.
About an hour more work before I can call it a day. Both projects I have on my plate are way more than an hour's worth of work, so I don't wanna.
IT'S RAINING AGAIN. OH NO, MY LIFE'S AT END.
Also, thunder. Good god, Los Angeles, can you leak more?
Maybe if it were the bay area it could.
Given that I have to go anyway, do I want to go to TJs/Costplus/Godiva tonight after work, or early morning Christmas eve? I think tonight, right?
tonight is going to be better, Perkins.
This morning the safeway store managers ( not the cashiers) looked surprised at the lines
Hey ita, Kat, are things on for tonight?
Kat had to bow out, Burrell. I'm waiting to see if she can make tomorrow.
Tonight will be better because then early morning on xmas eve you can stretch, take a swig of coffee or tea, and smugly say to youself "You know where I don't have to go? TJs/Costplus/Godiva, that's where."
When did I become an old person, y`all? All I did today was sleep and eat. Apparently my body is wreaking vengeance on me for being up past two for two nights in a row. And for having people to talk to for pretty much that whole time. I did pretty well socially, I feel, but then I still have to crash afterwards, and boy howdy did I ever today. Now to move some firewood against the impending storm, then shower and look presentable for dinner tonight.
