Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sorry to have disappeared on everyone. Today has been a holiday clusterfuck. And I still need to run out in the rain and do some midnight Xmas shopping. Which I hate.

I'm glad it sounds like Kat and Grace are settled in for the night.

seriously, msbelle.

midnight Xmas shopping? What craziness is that? Isn't it reserved for day after Thanksgiving?

Staying here is like the least restful hotel in Vegas ever. Round the clock busy-ness. Weird halflight time feeling. Something is always going on. Wicked expensive.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was so hoping the bizarre dream that sent me shockily awake had carried me to at least 3 am. Curses.

Man, those cats were big.

Were they giant housecats or, you know, impressive BIG cats?

I keep waiting for thunder and/or lightening.

Why am I awake?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They were massive, blocking out the tops of trees, cats. But they looked like housecats. And they had something to do with spoilers. It was a really wacked out dream.

Okay, more Ambien taken. I'm going to try lying down again.

Sleep speed to you, Kat! (And, damn, I don't envy you on the hospital thing--least restful places ever)

I was wondering the same thing, and not just, "why am I awake?" but "why are Kat and ita awake too?" And the thunder hasn't even started.

Total. It's for procrastinating parents who didn't buy stuff while school was still in session and now can't shop until the kids are in bed. DH is picking up the last part of Isaac's gift. It was supposed to be one Wii game, but he just called and there are now 2 more items in the mix. Oy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hi! I hope you are all asleep! I`m just getting down. Actually, I`m thinking about getting up and eating something. Concert was great, good crowd, good response, although no on liked them enough like us playing them on constant rotation for the past six months. But it was excellent and well recieved, so I am happy. Show went long so the party was small, ended up being mostly our students. Which was fun, and I finally just kicked them out. And they were good guests and actually there isn`t much cleanup left for tomorrow. We will have a nice clean house for the rest of break! I am wiped and wired at the same time.

Ugh. Got talking to an old college buddy at a party last night, and stayed hours later than I planned. Which meant I got to bed hours later than I should have. Good thing I can sleep in tomorrow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You guys were up late! Good luck with today...

I sort of slept in, but woke up a couple of times. I should know to set an alarm whenever I can sleep in -- if I don't, I subliminally worry about oversleeping. Which, today, would have had to have been really severe to be a problem! Ah well.
