Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

he is now better than his peers.

That is most excellent.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

mac is THE BEST at negotiating solutions.

That's kind of awesome.

Less awesome? Many of the rest of y'all's situations.

I just bought a gift that seemed reasonably sized at the store, but now I'm dreading getting it to my parents'. Oops. The upside is that it's cooking pot thing on sale for $40 from $100.

The floor just felt all wobbly. Not sure what that was.

Why didn't the developer modify the screenshot before he sent it to me??? I don't want to do it! GIMP and trackpad sucks.

Well, technically, there is a mouse in the other room. But it's over there.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oooh, I think the cool-ass Gotham print was delivered to our house today! (I told The Boy he could get it for me for Christmas and I would be pleased as punch. So it's addressed to him, but the return address is Imagekind, so I'm assuming it's the print.)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Just packed for our Florida trip. Our flight is 8:30 am tomorrow, which means we have to get up at stupid o'clock.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I finally broke 100K on a damn fb game. perhaps my ocd playing will not calm down. or maybe not. I am at least going to take a break and fix my nails.

then I'll take mac's friend home and settle in for what I hope will be a low-key evening of knitting.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Cash, your stories about your family make me ponder if we're related. Did you ever watch "My Name Is Earl" and play "spot the cousin"?

I have had a really good day. I cleaned up the ENTIRE house, took me five hours, finishing just before the cleaning crew arrived; I got rid of an area rug that's been annoying me; I moved my work computer back into my office where it belongs; I've lost a pound this week; and my job is Under Control. I'm not going to let things I haven't done and bosses who are crazy mess up my day. Tomorrow is soon enough to deal with it all. Tonight I'm gonna watch tv and eat pizza. Oh, and pet the cat who's patting my leg for attention.

Our wings are not tired.

I had some that had nutmeg in them that were delish.

Thanks for taking me to a John Legend place.

SO glad that Gracie is out of surgery and it went well despite the feisty!

And am proud of Mac's negotiation skillz.

Suzi, I knew you'd find your beads. I was going to wait another hour before I told you where I hid them.

I am now remembering how obsessive I get about books I am reading. Due to school and only reading classics, I really got out of the habit of page turners (page clickers). I forgot how much I don't want to sleep, eat, work, play, or any of those civilized things. I am glad that I am on vacationish (sort of on-call, but don't have to go into the office!) for a while. But if I might fall into the reading hole and never come out.

Connie, please feel better soon. For lots of reasons, but a main one is so that you can meet Sox and family.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, no. I've gotten Matilda all riled up with a sock fight, which has devolved into her running up and down the hall throwing socks and screaming, "Deliver that, punk!"

And (Jesse alert) whenever I hit her with a sock, she yells, "You can't hurt me! I'm a cowgirl!"
