Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I miss cross country skiing. In NC you have to go to the mountains for any skiing, so it's pretty much all down hill. Eh, if I miss it enough I'll get my butt up to MI and rent some skis.
Man, what a day, beth. I hope you find the ATM card soon!
the good thing about my bank, I can go down tomorrow and get a new one. there is now a stop on it
I'm tired. but I have food in the fridge that won't take long to heat. And it might be time to see if fernet will cure this
Crap, I just remembered I got invited to a Yankee Swap at work tomorrow, and I didn't get anything. I think it's supposed to be $10 or less, but is two soaps and a lip gloss from the Body Shop too random and lame? I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to go anyway.
Dudes, the competition was fierce! Winners were a sublime graham cracker sandwich cookie (she made the mexican chocolate oreo with orange filling last time) an earl grey/chocolate sandwich cookie in a wee size and a crabchip cookie. Which I didn't even try, I don't like crab at all. (That was the most original.) But there were also Bob's first attempt at a family meringue cookie, several nummy spice ones, lisah's verrrry festive sparkly little glitter bombs, beautiful shortbreads, a rootbeer pinwheel...and I just can't recall.
Fun!
oh thank dog, I finally broke 100K on bejeweled, feel like I can stop now.
So many good cookies!!
