"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

That's the only one I see in our database, so probably.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My sister and I wrap the stuff we buy ourselves and tag it as being from the other one and put it under the tree. Then we open them with glee and say "It's exactly what I wanted! how ever did you know?" We fool no one, of course, the girls caught on years ago.

I think this year it would go over ESPECIALLY bad, what with my no job having, and my not really looking for work yet. Then there are the other two chairs that I bought for myself, and the outdoor Christmas stuff. Let's say my parents are barely able to keep themselves from being all "what they hell are you doing spending money?!?!?!" And, you know, they may have a point, I just don't wanna see it.

Retail therapy, msbelle? The more I'm stressed, the more I spend money I don't really have.

Surgery~ma to Grace.

Does this winter weather just seem unusually cold because we had an overly warm autumn? I don't remember 35° feeling this bone-chilling in years past.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I have original Tron on DVD. It may be moratoriumed right now, but it can be had.

Disney has a long habit of bringing stuff in and out of print (often with a lying "For the LAST TIME!!!!"). I suspect they may do a re-release when Legacy comes out on DVD.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's my theory.

eta: Or else I'm getting old and it's time to retire to Florida.

Zen - thing is, I have more money in my account than I ever have. It's just that the income is going to stop in a couple of weeks and there is nothing on the horizon. But people around here are hiring and luckily, like really really luckily, I am not in a place where I need to get a job paying what I was making before. I just need a job within a month or two that will have benefits and at least half of what I was bringing in for the last few months.

Because I am so "nice" when the parents start to lecture I quote Bible verses back to them. Matthew 6:34 is a favorite. I also like to start singing the hymn God Will Take Care Of You.
