Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Is Rage Nurse the really evil co-worker you have who says mean things to you? And if not, does your new position mean you won't have to deal with that mean co-worker?

I see Hec already answered, but YES!

She's trying to make up for it by being extra-nasty in the waning hours of our occupational cohabitation. I still want to punch her in the throat, but it's incredibly soothing to remind myself that she's just trying to get her last licks in before the clock ticks down to zero and I disappear.

My officemate left early to have a meeting with her union rep about all the reassignments, layoffs and underpay and the general incredibly dysfunctional behavior of the division (she volunteered to do this -- I've got a family to support, but she's a bohemian young childfree will o' the wisp who's been planning to ditch this job and spend a couple of years in New Zealand anyway, so she feels she has nothing to lose by blowing up some bridges).

Allyson tell the Jackhole at work that if he has a lousy sex life then you will truly believe him that women are risk averse.

Oh, SNAP. Please, msbelle, may I fly you out to accompany me on my last day in this office so you can effortlessly hoist her on the petard of whatever last insult she tries to fling at me?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have a Very large sweet potato (not a euphemism)

You have a root!

JZ, so glad you're free of those toxic people!

Good stuff: My oldest niece got the job she wanted! This is especially wonderful because not only is it a Good Job(tm) that will have her doing the work she's really good at, it gets her out of a very toxic work environment.

Also, Amazon says they're shipped Sam the Bat to me! I am pleasantly surprised.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Good thing: tomorrow is my last day of work for two weeks, which is a perk of working at my job- we get the two weeks off with holiday pay.

Also, I am having a beer tasting party on Saturday! With my new beery friends!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You have a root!

Well played, Zen.

So I looked it up, and this time last year, Baltimore got hit with weekend storms that resulted in me losing a weekend of last minute shopping and postponement of my flight. My neighbor had to shovel out my balcony, it was bad enough.

Today's snow was dealable, if ugly if you didn't have my sweet commute (even so, it was really slippery, but no need to shovel balconies) but there's a small chance of more on Sunday. I'm twitching.

Can somebody help talk me out of heading to the Irish pub down the street for bread pudding? I really don't need to be eating a 1,500 calorie dessert on top of the big slab of leftover lasagna I had for dinner.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I really don't need to be eating a 1,500 calorie dessert on top of the big slab of leftover lasagna I had for dinner.

Don't do it, Matt! Get them separate plates at least.

As I'm about to have the rest of my Mac & Cheese Bites, I don't think I can advise anyone about food and restraint.
