This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Ooh. Insomnia plus icy roads. I'm thinking telecommuting and/or calling in sick today may be a good idea.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I was rather blase about our wintry mix until I was driving back from an errand at about 7 last night and slid the last half mile. This morning, I find there were 900+ metro accidents and people were stuck in traffic for hours.

Huh, we were dry here last night - and now it's warmer. Durham has got sleet, though.

We didn't get a lot of wet stuff, fortunately, since it was essentially an ice storm. A mix of rain and sleet turned into a thin glaze of ice on the roads, leading to the bumper-car effect.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Durham has got sleet

That we do. And snow and freezing rain too. Somehow, "I'm dreaming of a wintry mix Thursday" doesn't have quite the same ring to it..

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

No precipitation in Boston! And nothing more than flurries in the forecast.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Cass, I only go out of my way to offend people sometimes, but I have to admit, that e-mail would irritate me. But I have no particular *drive* to use Jesus' name either. If someone told me that, I would stop. But when I say "damn it," about something, I don't really think about it as sending the object to Hell(which I don't really believe in either) although, technically, I suppose that's what it means.

We are below freezing, at least.

In trying to get the last bit out of my lotion, of course I got too much out. Oops. Moisturizing!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

13 degrees here. No snow right now.
