I'm not sure I'm comfortable having whoah in my panties. Dang.
But I DO like hibiscus. And rum.
I think, at this point, I would rather have OB in my panties...
OMG, NEIGHBOR/FRIEND TO THE RESCUE! She's got a box of Droste. She's donating it to the cause.
Have I mentioned in the last 2 days how much I fucking love my neighbors?
Is that like Swedish for "and your little dog too!"?
I honestly don't know. I used to think it was a real Swedish fake swear but no Swede I've asked has ever been familiar with it. So I think they made it up for the book.
Anger that has no outlet is turning to depression. I really don't have many days to sew this outfit. I started setting stuff up and drafting up pattern pieces. Then my sister brought her babysitting home again. I really hate having no control over where I live. I never have any idea what some other person has planned to do with the common spaces at a given time because no one ever asks. And half the time I'm getting kicked out in favor of someone who doesn't even live and/or pay rent here.
Nothing I can do about it except move. And I can't afford to move just yet. So...depression.
It sounds like you really do have a great neighborhood, sarameg.
I love hibiscus in drinks. Tazo uses it in their Passion tea, which I am addicted to, as a non-caffeinated nighttime warm drink. Tangy and delicious.
It doesn't make me passionate; I think they called it that because of the pretty red color.
What I know as sorrel grows wild, and adds a salty flavor to food.
Oh yeah, I love the Passion iced. But really, just straight hibiscus iced tea is the bomb.
Okay, between The Good Wife and Raising Hope, is incest the hot new thing this season? Because, really, fandom is ahead of that curve.
I like it better iced than hot, but hot in the winter, baby!
I've never tried straight hibiscus; where would I find it?
