Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My internet is back

Roadrunner again? (I know, yes, Roadrunner. What I can't remember is if you are working from home today.) Because mom called me on her cell to bitch that hers was out about an hour ago.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yup, them. Freaking frustrating, man.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

This is so cool.

But too expensive.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

McKenzie's is gone?

That's some nifty jewelry.

Sadly, McKenzie's has been gone for years. Tastee Doughnuts has some of their recipes, like the buttermilk drops and turtles.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ah, this is finals week, and much less with the crazy at work. For me, at least. My students, NSM.

I'm looking forward to stepping into novels next semester!! Although I have to say, I got spoiled with Hispanic students. I may have had some kids on probation for assault and assorted violent crimes, but classroom behavior was much better. And I knew that with 99% of them, if I called a parent about being dissrespected, man...that shit did NOT play.

I haven't been what you would call slack, but it's been my first two weeks. Next semester, some kids are going to get written up and parents called if this bullshit rudeness doesn't stop tout de suite. We get different schedules, so I'm hoping some of the problem in my last hour class might work itself out a bit.

That being said, most of my kids are great -- but there's this one girl, I swear, I just want to slap her. She'll sleep through class and snap at me, but expects points for everything. And argues about it ALL, and in such a petulant, confrontational bitchy way...GRRR.

Guess what, sweetheart? Wake the fuck up, pay attention when I talk, stop being such a bitch and earn your goddamn grades. Your attitude? Been there, done that, not impressed with it.

minirant over.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

She'll sleep through class and snap at me, but expects points for everything.

She sounds like one of my co-workers.

Huh. I had no idea.
