I'm getting the pig!

Number 24 is the one that cracks me up. The dog looks like he's actually jumping up to get in the way. Hilarious!

I can't even blame being drowsy when every so often (once a month or so) I hear someone walk up behind me at work and stand next to my chair... Except noone is there. I really can't wait until we move offices next week just so that I no longer face away from the entrance of my cube.

Our wings are not tired.

Maybe dreams like Liese's are why some people believe they've had encounters with ghosts?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I could totally have been talked into believing I`d seen a ghost right afterward. A ghost wearing slippers and a yellow coat.

I've mostly experienced sleep paralysis, which is that sorta thing. Really pumps you into fight or flight when you snap out of it.

(I made another batch of dough. What, I got a non-Valrhona powder and need to make sure it is satisfactory!)

My neighbors and coworkers are either going to love or hate me.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

quester, I'm so sorry about the layoff, and the timing really sucks.

I was supposed to go out to the grocery store to pick up some tomato paste and other stuff for my pureed food stage of my diet which is starting tomorrow, but it was too damn cold to go outside. Tomorrow morning, I'll get all bundled up. I might even take the box of food pantry donations with me and make an extra stop before getting groceries.

At least one of the two problems that arose after the surgery resolved itself this morning. The other will be taken care of with antibiotics, which I really have to start taking, even though they are horse pills that are hard to swallow.

Cool thing of the week: my face is already thinner! And my wrist and collar bones are starting to emerge.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That's awesome, Kathy!

Curious that you can take big pills when things like rice are no go.
