And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Cash, I have no idea. If she's already driving illegally without a license, I'm not sure what else you can do to stop her.

Jesse, are all nuts a problem, or just pine nuts? I'd substitute walnuts if she's not allergic to those. Or just leave them out and use a little extra cheese. [eta: I've also seen pesto recipes that use pumpkin or sunflower seeds, but I can't vouch for the flavor of either in an otherwise traditional Genovese recipe.]

Now tagless for your comfort.

Get her a bus pass.

Small town--no busses or mass transport of any kind. I wish there was.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Many nuts, I think including walnuts. I'd just as soon not make my own pesto, though. It doesn't have to be pesto, I guess -- I can think of any number of things that would be delicious with cream cheese or whatever. I think I'll just roam the aisles at TJ's and see if I can come up with something -- maybe tapenade? With sundried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. That would be good, I think.

Art Crawl!!!

Cash - is she is driving illegally then I think you are well within your rights to NOT help her to break the law by getting her a new windshield.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What sumi said.

Hey Buffistas, do you need to add another member to the Pantheon of Super Cool Nerd Girls?

Why have you not mentioned Hedy Lamarr? What's wrong with you?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

According to e-how sunflower seeds work very well in any recipe pine-nuts work it. Pumpkin seeds are supposed to be a good substitute as well.

OH and don't know what to say about the person driving while freakin legally blind!

Oh and Hedy Lamarr. Sort of inventor of the cell phone! (OK so she invented one technology that is used in cell phones rather than the cell phone itself.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My coworker sent around the following Hedy Lamarr quote last week:

I must quit marrying men who feel inferior to me. Somewhere there must be a man who could be my husband and not feel inferior. I need a superior inferior man.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I was thinking the same thing the whole time, Steph.
