Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Next time you get to one of their concerts, tell 'em they owe you a toaster.

Hee. I can't wait for your first show.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

For those who like OB, there are similar organic tampons made by a company called Natracare.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I think I was the one that linked the YouTube site, billytea. So glad you're enjoying it!

yes! That'd be right. It's quite handy, being able to check out the album in its entirety.

Hee. I can't wait for your first show.

Nah. I'm not a concertgoer myself. I value too highly the volume control. But, you know, they owe you a toaster. Maybe you can come up with an alternative payment of similar value. If you set your mind to it and such like.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Next time you get to one of their concerts, tell 'em they owe you a toaster.

That would be tonight. And it was amazing.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Next time you get to one of their concerts, tell 'em they owe you a toaster.

Hee! But it really is an amazing album.

That would be tonight. And it was amazing.

AAauaugh I have to wait until April!

Talking about finding presents for people: I love doing that. I love shopping for people. I especially love taking people on thrift store excursions and helping them find things.

So far I have the BIG present for my Mom, a bunch of stuff for Pete (who is simple to shop for, because he gives me a list), and some stuff for friends. Still no clue what to get Dad or some of my other friends. Oh, and because I'm precisely that sort of Fairy Gothmother, I'm giving Lily a Monster High Draculaura doll.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Lurked for about 50 posts and then skipped ca 100. Cross-posted from Bitches:

I lurked a bit today. But my memory is crappy so suffice it to say ~ma to those with health problems, life problems, home problems, etc. I hope things get on an even keel for everyone soon.

I spent my day going to a Victorian event at the LA Arboretum. I was a bit underwhelmed by the Victorian stuff, but happy to get to go into buildings that only get opened twice a year.

I spent my early evening tagging and uploading the last couple weeks' worth of pictures including todays pics from the Arboretum. [link]

THEN I spent the last hour or so paying for an upgrade to 1Password because my address seems to have been one of those compromised in the Anonymous leak from Gawker.com And then I went on to change passwords for about 6 of my major sites. Not that they used the same password as anything I would have used on the Gawker family of sites but because my ignorance of what is and what isn't possible in the hacking world has me probably overdoing it. I currently have a hate-on for 4chan.

information libertarian

The fact that Kroger no longer chas a spot on the shelves for OB, and they are back-ordered at KY.com (which is where the OB site send you to purchase online) is what makes me worried.

I tried some ancient tampax yesterday; I hate 'em.

Maybe 4chan is responsible for the OB shortage.

We are under a wind advisory. It was windy enough in the night to wake me up. High of 33, wind chill of 5. But no snow.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

High of 33 if we're lucky, and low of 12-17. I am fretting about my plants. Mr Peabody keeps looking for the door into summer. He barks to go out, then steps outside and immediately does a tight u-turn back into the house. Half an hour later, he tries again.

Librarian Warlord

We had some snow flurries this a.m.

And the dog puked up her breakfast after doing well for a few days, so I am waiting for a call back from the vet to figure out what to do next.

I'm happy to send Lil-lets to anyone who wants to give them a go - I think they're relatively similar to O.B.
