Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Then gradually, he started cheating.

This is my in-laws. MiL is a great cook; FiL an obese diabetic. And she can't control his intake via her cooking because he sneaks candy in the house and his office. Hides ice cream in the basement fridge and lies about the housekeeper eating it. Etc.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

He IS on medication and gets his blood sugar checked regularly. They live in a house next to the nurse daughter's and she keeps a keen eye on his health, so that's good. And I realize that his health really is not his wife's responsibility, but I know it drives her kids crazy she is unwilling to make any change at all in their lifestyle--not as crazy as him ignoring his doctor's orders does, but pretty close.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Not at all appropriate for the diabetes discussion, but: Skittles-infused vodka. I'm not sure whether I'm intrigued or horrified. [link]

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I don't really watch Supernatural, although I've seen it a few times...it's a weird one to kind of back into, too, I'll tell you. But I could see how that could happen...there is an actor that just played a POTUS in a movie that I first watched play Brett Butler's idiot husband. I sort of still expect him to be stupid, even though I've seen him in many things where he is smart.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

That was a great article, Allyson, and good ideas. We`ve done memberships before and they always went over well. Also, that is a super cute photo of your nephew, with the reflection in the aquarium glass.

Thanks so much! I love that pic, too. He looks so contemplative.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I finally got the last internal doorknob installed. Of course, what I set out to do was make a cup of tea, and I haven't managed that, yet. Trying again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm making tea in lieu of dessert.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I did something to my lower leg. Not a clue what. I was just moving the garbage and I felt a zing up my left leg. It isn't shin splints but dang, the pain is not subsiding.

CJ is worth his weight in gold. He helped me back to the couch and buzzed over to Panda, on his bike, to pick up something for dinner. I'm a step away from complete tears.

Good job, CJ. I hope it goes away, whatever it is, Suzi. Ouch.
