Whoot! When I went down to move the laundry, I remembered to bring up my Christmas stuff from my storage cupboard. Now we'll see when they make it out of the boxes....

We're snowing and I have to make the call on "weather" or not to cancel the Girl Scout field trip today. Part of me says, "Dudes - you live in Michigan. Snow is not uncommon." OTOH, it is the first snow of the year and the idiots are already out in abundance.
No time like the present, Jesse.
I have a ton of stuff on my to do list but I'm still sitting on the couch. My excuse for waiting to give the cat his skin therapy bath is that I need the house to warm up a bit first. Still, I have other things I could be doing. Maybe after this movie is over...
Yeah, in the present, I'm on the couch. I probably will do it today, though. Christmassy!

This is the storm that made the Metrodome collapse. That's not nothing. Unless you are are only going to get a mild edge of it, I'd recommend not going out unless absolutely necessary.
Ooo, I woke up in such a Grinchy snit today! I am developing a full hate-on for the holiday. Grrr. Luckily I'm married to a sweet man who will hold me and try to quell my anxieties.
It's just... there's an impossible amount of work that needs to be done between now and then, and so little appreciation or gratitude to pull me through it.
Oh well, I'll shut up now so my kvetching doesn't interfere with things like Jesse's pleasure in putting up the Xmas decorations.
Heh. I don't have any pleasure in it yet. I'm kind of in fake-it-til-you-make-it mode at this point.
Yeah, but isn't PMS when most women realize they're out of tampons?
That was my thought, that the attempts to buy and discovery that they're no longer available would come a week or two before the need for them.
Burrell, I also wonder about forgoeing things that are a hassle for you, and not appreciated by others?
I've been trying to convince my grandmother that she doesn't have to decorate her house if she doesn't feel like it.
I will not be Xmasy till next weekend...although I did make a trip to my folks' house, and mom gave me all of my grandma's ornaments. SO NOSTALIGIC.
This will be the 1st year I have decorated for Xmas; I'm kinda looking forward to it.
