Nifty! I've either only seen the Rondele garlic & herbs or I focus in on it and don't notice there are other kinds. Mmmmm, cheese.
That's really cool, Kathy! Both the g.c. and the genre tv rep

I just realized I haven't listened to any of my Christmas music yet this year. I normally pop in CDs and listen to those on my commute, but since I'm off of work until the 20th, that's not happening. With nothing on TV tonight, I'm playing my iTunes Christmas songlist--Empire Brass, the Ronnettes, Bing Crosby, and now Karen Carpenter. I was looking at the list, and I've got ten hours worth of 200 songs. That's a lot more than I thought I had!
Whoa. For a second there I thought I liked a Christmas carol that wasn't one of my two exceptions or religious. But I finally got far enough in the lyrics of "The Holly and the Ivy" to the Jesus bit. Then I read the lyrics, and they're not really that cheerful or celebratory. Hmm.
Two exceptions?
Do They Know Its Christmas? and Feliz Navidad.
I claim no thematic consistency. But one was omnipresent as I was growing up, and the other was a big moment in my teen years.
Watching The Princess Bride. I've almost changed my tagline ten times already, and they only just reached the shrieking eels. ♥
Geeks' most beloved holiday classics. [link] Didn't A Wish for Wings that Work predate Outland?
edit- Okay, maybe not. Looks like it was smack dab between the last Bloom County collection and the first Outland collection.
I am perhaps baking too much. Another batch of cookies. And there's this work party weds, and while I don't know that I'll make these for that, since I have another 2 batches to make before next sunday, but what the hell. Oh, and ingredients aren't particularly cheap. So I'm making expensive cookies. This is what, the third batch? I think I have the process and formation down now, which was the point of doing multiple rounds. Ain't pretty, but don't look like demented oozing hockey pucks anymore.
So. Oh, and I have a name for them. Neighbor Sarah's boyfriend, after hearing the ingredients, dubbed them Heaven and Hell cookies, alternately Heaven and Sin, he couldn't decide.
So let's see...I'm looking at making what, another 4 batches of cookies in the next week? Ahahahah.
And it gets really hilarious when you factor in that I eat maybe ONE from each set, for quality control, and that's more than enough for me.
Up tomorrow (maybe) another batch of some kind of cookies, buy some giftcards, get more fancy cocoa and unless it is really pouring, rake up my back postage stamp for the winter. To add to the 16 bags dotting our rear alley. And last load of laundry.
God, I want to take next friday off. Maybe I'll telecommute, though that means I'll still need to drop by work to leave the laptop, since I don't want to leave it in the house while I'm on vacation. At least I could bake and work simultaneously. Plus, cookie naming dude has a gig that Saturday night that'd be fun to go to, but that's also a crazy weekend.
OMG, I am tired. I went to my parents', made cookies with my mother, went shopping with my father, back for more cookie-making, then family dinner, which included my mother going OFF on her mother about something that happened weeks ago. @@ I swear to god.
Now I am back on my own sofa, quiet with my cat.
FWIW, PMS and menstruation are at different times in the cycle.
Yeah, but isn't PMS when most women realize they're out of tampons?
I wish that was that woman. I realize it when I'm bleeding through my pants.
