Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Someone at the show last night was wearing a floor-length red velvet cape with a hood.

I bought about $100 worth of tights on Beyond the Rack a few weeks ago (they still have not shipped.) But plus-sized tights in cotton are pretty hard for me to find, so I snapped them up.

Between me shopping and holiday shopping, I am going have a stroke when I see my visa bill.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

We do all know that this is a myth, right?

So glad to read about the pasta & water thing, since I've never really followed it and never noticed any difference.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Capes are gorgeous.

Sock Dreams is dangerous. Though the socks that are mega long are actually too long on me. I love so manypairs I've bought there though. Just the scrunchy ones that go all of the way up are, you know, very long.

I do love sock dreams, though I find some of their sizing estimates overly optimistic. As in, I bought a pair of over-the-knee socks that they said would fit a thigh several inches thicker than mine, and I don't know what crack they were on, because they were almost unbearably tight on me and only stayed up with assistance. Another pair were jsut too small, and I ended up giving them away because the cost to ship them back for returns was not worth it. But, YTMV, I guess??

information libertarian

Yeah, sock dreams carries almost nothing that will fit a 6-foot person, no matter what diameter her thighs may be. I've given up after too many, "oooh - oh, 5'2"-5'6"."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Having bought the groceries so I can make pancakes, I find myself too tired to want to.

Help?

Hell, I'm too blahh to even look up the stupid recipe that I used to have memorised.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

i'd be happy to make you pancakes, ita. Especially as I don't think a satsuma and a cup of coffee are going to get me very far, today. But the starter hasn't been fed this week, so it'll take a while.

You are the Anti-Edna.

I prefer Bizarro Edna.

Ooh, fancy pancakes too. I was just going to go buttermilk.

As I sit here and get hungrier, I may just get off my ass.

I'll admit Sock Dreams being near me helps with my love. I browse the website but I shop instore. At least for the first pair of each kind.
