Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just had a thought. I'm wearing (currently) a black overbust strapless corset and a gunmetal grey satin ballgown skirt to my cousin's wedding. I had been considering a wrap to wear on top of it indoors, but what about a cape? (I've been reading Jezebel's how to dress for parties without freezing article) I'd have to work out how to actually wear it there, under my winter coat, but it might be kinda cool. I can't decide.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have a pair of the lined tights she mentions and they are AWESOME.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Aroo?

I throw 1 cup of steel-cut oats, 4 cups water, some maple syrup & chopped pecans in the pot before I go to bed, and leave the lid just a little bit askew (if you seal it completely the oatmeal is too wet), and put it on low. When I wake up in the morning, yummy steel-cut oatmeal! And then I put the rest in the fridge and eat it the rest of the week.

The down side is cleaning the pot, and usually some of the oatmeal burns on the side of the pot, but it's not too bad.

People are talking in the comments about tights and open-toed shoes. God, no. Even toeless tights--that's still really weird, because WTF? Naked toes? Where did they come from?

Oh hell no.

Now I'm lost staring at velvet wraps. My colour accent was going to be garnet jewelry, but now I'm wondering if black velvet wrap is too much monochrome.

Cool tights.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Lucky has been promoting tights with open-toed shoes for years. I dunno.

You could carry the cape in a bag?

Back from the vet! And I just saved a shitload of money, because he scraped some crap off Homer's teeth and said he doesn't need to come back for the Big Cleaning. So that's good. He's apparently lost some weight, which I hadn't noticed, but is still fine. Phew!

Great, now I want half of modcloth's coats. And, you know, live in LA.

Still no closer on a cape/velvet wrap decision. Should I go colour? In my head, that throws the jewellery back to black or silver, which isn't a problem. Ooh, or marcasite. I can definitely do that.

Because books.

Where are you finding velvet wraps/capes? I wouldn't even know where to look.

Stephen found three coats on ModCloth for me, but none of them seem warm enough for an East Coast winter, especially for walking any distance. So pretty, though.
