Yeah, my cat's nail had actually punctured the toe pad. But I just clipped it and kept an eye on it and it healed fine. She was about 7 at the time and in generally good, if fat, health.

BOSTON — A North Carolina teenager whose mangled body was found inexplicably in a Boston suburb last month likely stowed away inside the wheel well of a commercial aircraft and fell to his death as the plane lowered its landing gear on its approach to Logan Airport, authorities said Friday.

They still don't know how he got past airport security to be able to get to the plane.
