You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Art Crawl!!!

I'm watching the new "Cook" channel. Caught the end of a French food show and now they've got a baking show with an Irish hostess. (She made a v. yummy looking walnut cake.)

So far, so good.

I think my alarm went off at the usual time - I seem to recall hearing some NPR but I didn't actually get up until sometime after ten. And despite my shower I am already hot and sweaty.

Life without a/c.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds so fun, Sara!

I went for a little walk, sat and finished my book, and then realized I was hungry, so swung by TJ's and am now home again. It is so lovely outside, and I just want to tan. Which I know is bad.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks, smonster! I've been enjoying working with it.

I'm watching the L&O marathon, too. It's nice that they're running something arc-y.

At TJ's I bought a bottle of unsweetened lime flavored water, and it is so awesome, I was thinking I should go back and buy more. But then I realized I should just buy a damn lime!

Good plan. And if you get tired of adding it to water, you can add it to some tequila and cointreau and put it over ice for a margarita.

An excellent plan!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

sarameg, what fun! Glad you had such a wonderful time!

With smonster's hourly pep talks and my cats' supervision, I am cleaning out the upstairs Closet o' Doom. "Excavating" would be a better word. This is the place where I shove the mess when I'm desperate to hide it, and then I forget about it. I've found stuff dated 2007. And I've only lived in this house since last year, which means I *moved this crap from NJ*. Am craxy.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I have woken up.

And am watching the French Open.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I got clothes put away, stuff neatened a bit, and read a couple of chapters. Also furminated the cats as much as they allowed.
