I meant to add, but other poses, like where he pins his arm underneath his hip to form a shelf...so biomechanically bad. Shoulder out and back, man! alignment!

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Juliebird, that blows. It's a terrible place for you to be in. Is there anyone you can discuss it with?
In Sonic/Donors Choose news.... They've actually funded 761 projects so far. So mine certainly had enough votes. I wonder if they are doing it by amount...like we're giving ~$100,000 this week, how many of the top projects is would vary?
Really need to go through all my jeans since I have multiple sizes.
This is me!
I lost 4 lbs this week due to stress and work and actively trying. I had a pesto gorgonzola with chicken tonight so I'm sure to have gained back much of it.
Happy birthday, Perkins!
First week of school is over and we are all tired over here. Early to bed night!

That one's halfway to a capoeira kick. Which I...need to go look up, because I cannot spell it for shit. Aha. It's the queda de rins -- fall on the kidney. Here's how it looks, capoeira-style. Is that ergonomically better?

That sounds...unlikely to have been 14,000 calories.
Is it possible to be a shipper and not be romantic? I swear I'm not romantic. Honest. I just...I just keep pairing people off on TV. That's different, right?
Also, people should call 911 more often on TV. I mean, even if they're too late, TRY PEOPLE.
ita, yes, I think so. Because that pic, the guy's hands are splayed which will roll the shoulders forward (no good) but he's using his head/chest to balance himself with help from his pecs. It looks like his shoulders are flatter on his back which, ergo wise, is much better.
That sounds...unlikely to have been 14,000 calories.
You'd be surprised! Also Fresh & Easy's Lemon/Cilantro hummus is AMAZING. Highly recommend.
I don't know who i could talk to. The ED is so fucking socially inept she makes me look like a saint, and the DoD is so old school... the rest are minions like me, and I'm afraid that my beloved coworker isn't too happy, especially since the ED called her a "little piggy" for wanting to keep her space and she'd quit in a heartbeat if she had a better offer (she's my only link to sanity and I don't want her to go!). I don't know how kosher going to the President of the Board of Trustees would be, if that would be shooting myself in an area more vital than my foot, or actually beneficial.
This woman, this ED, is so offensive, she pisses off and offends everyone she meets. The electrician, the kitchen designer, the rep from the NJ Native Plant Society. I have no idea what the board thinks of her, or how much ground I would have to voice complaints. But I am a gutless wonder living my half-life in fear. Life without my director has been better up until now. I want him back so he can say "you're bullshit, I have a pension, I quit!"
ita, this is a similar yoga pose, minus the twist: [link] If I could remember the one with the twist in the torso I would check that. Do you see how her non-leg supporting arm is free, not pinned in? That's what makes this pose a good one, I hear (though I will cheat and pin my arms on occasion). She's doing the work in her arms/chest/back with tweaking her shoulder.
eta: found a link: [link] For yoga, it's about using chattaranga arms, i think, to get into this pose -- weight forward, using the core. nifty but hard.
