If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

a tornado comes because the women aren`t taking care of their hair properly

My old roommate used to distinguish certain big cities as places "where you have to brush your hair". Mostly that meant Paris, Montreal, NY v. Chicago, Toronto etc.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Other bookstores, Allyson --

There's Once Upon a Page in Montrose, which is tiny, but they like to do local authors, especially local kid authors. Also, Children's Book World on Pico is a good one. Mrs. Nelson's in LaVerne (which is far) does a ton of book fairs etc. so it's a good spot.

What about Dragonfly DaLou? They have a biggish eventish space. and Sean Maher shops and does activities there for his daughter.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi!! I skipped massively. How are people? I am currently in a hotel in Atlanta instead of on a flight home thanks to Delta.

My hotel room smells, but not as much as the first one they put me in. \\o/.

How are folks?

Awesome!

I really wish I hadn't thrown away my toothbrush before I left though.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Perkins!

I loved that place when I lived in La Crescenta.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hooray for Jamaica! I am in a hotel in Mammoth Lakes, after a long motorcycle ride through the Mojave, which was amazing and beautiful and way wicked HOT. We stopped at Manzanar (the internment camp for Japanese Americans), which is saddening but incredible. Even more incredible, they have an interview with George Izumi, who is the father of a good friend of ours.We knew her dad was in Manzanar, but not that his story was part of the exhibit.
