I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sweet, I can see Jupiter without actually getting up from the couch.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Off to work out how to elevate with the heating pad tonight. Think seche thoughts for me.

I just realized a pair of pants that I have thought were black actually aren't. They are navy blue. I have been wearing them as if they were black since I bought them. 3 years ago.

I had this realization while packing about a camisole. I've probably only had it six months, but I've worn it a LOT. Grrr.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

If you can`t tell, I bet most people can`t either. I wear wrong colors all the time, though, so I am not a good reference on this.

Also, I have a stomachache.

Also also, my peaches were somewhere between success and failure. I had three quart jars of peaches canned in apple juice. One was successful, one I dropped, but we can still eat now, and one I canned with bonus fruitfly and must be tossed.

I also did seven jars of peach jam, which appears to be successful.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I had a pair of sweats that started out black but after a couple dozen washes looked more navy blue. Sometimes the dye just wears like that.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

AND He wins. He just walked over and whispered, "I poohed."

Oh, well played, young Noah. Well played.

Tomorrow is the first day of the NYFF which means I'm on dropoff duty for the first time in...ever? Normally I'm out the door at 7 and DH handles the morning stuff. If I'm less than an hour late for work I'll consider it a win.

Holy CRAP - the Tea Party candidate won the GOP primary for the NYS governor's race. Sophia, WTF is going on upstate????

Now my hope is that Lazio will run as a Conservative and split the right-wing vote. Not that Cuomo's such a great Dem candidate, but now that the alternative is Paladino...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Holy CRAP - the Tea Party candidate won the GOP primary for the NYS governor's race.

Yikes!

It's kind of weird here that there's a competitive governor's race, but not within each party -- for months, there has already been one Dem, one Rep, one Independent, and one Green party candidate running.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Holy CRAP - the Tea Party candidate won the GOP primary for the NYS governor's race.

And they knocked out Castle for the Delaware Senate seat too. Makes it much less likely the Repubs could take the Senate, I think. What happens to Mike Castle now? Is he still eligible to run for his House seat?

Let's hope, right?
