Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'll go into work tomorrow morning and see if I can make an appointment with any of my old GP's partners.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

ita, I hope you will forgive me if I think it's funny that you don't have a GP.

I have a migraine specialist that I see near-monthly, and I see at least one doctor once a week.

When do I get time for a GP?

I had a great GP (Burrell recommended him), but he moved to SF, and the idea of finding another has just killed me. But one of the ER docs suggested I see one of his partners, so I've had that in the back of my mind...you know, for until it was almost too late.

Because books.

You might be better off trying an urgent care tomorrow, if there's one handy. New patient appointments are always a bitch, and usually hard to schedule.

Sara, I am sorry about your aunt. I think everything will continue to be hard and it'll be a feat to be okay with that.

On day two of Operation Preschool, everyone got where they needed to be this morning. On time even. We have even started the process to amend Grace's IEP. I have a feeling we are going to have to go to Due Process on this one.

Noah REFUSES to go to bed. I told him after 8:00 PM it's mommy time and I am off duty and will not respond to him or answer questions. He's lolling on the couch.

eta AND He wins. He just walked over and whispered, "I poohed."

Also, can someone please explain why rice cookers either cost $10 or $133. And there is an actual difference, right?

I found an urgent care place near work. I'll try it after my meetings, if it's still bothersome.

Is it a 24 hour urgent care, ita? Can you go on off hours? Swollen hand = no good.

I just realized a pair of pants that I have thought were black actually aren't. They are navy blue. I have been wearing them as if they were black since I bought them. 3 years ago.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Kat, I've done the same thing.

Hey everybody - right around now, Jupiter is closer to the Earth (and therefore brighter) than it's been (and will be) in 10 or 15 years... so, go look at it!

It's sorta' East - SouthEast right now.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ita is confusing me with this moved to SF stuff. But I think I am easily confused.

I had to switch GPs, it was traumatic. But I like my new one, so there's that.

For the first time, the Nurse on the line was more useful that looking up Web MD. Or maybe that twas too much typing. Mistake--no ice and no compression. Heat and loose. Call back if more pain or swelling or signs of infection.
