It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Paw still puffy, ita? That's weird.

I've never had infiltration last this long. I've tried to keep the hand up, but the elbow is still beneath my heart, so I guess it's of limited use. I can only use the thumb without pain. All the other fingers are swollen and painful, down to the wrist.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Shit, ita! I had an iv infiltration when I was delivering Owen but it went away after two days. And I had other issues to distract me from my puffy arm. Maybe they hit a nerve or something?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I love tall boots but my humongous calves create difficulties with them.

Silhouettes.com has great boots for wider calves. I have at least 2 pair from them, and they fit very well on my substantial calves.

Courtesy of my sister, who coincidentally just bought a pair, here's a similar pair in black: [link]

I currently own only black shoes (well, and red) and am really trying to break out! My office is so cold in the winter that I routinely wear a hat and scarf, so I don;t think I'll be too hot in the boots. I run cold; I wear long underwear in the winter in Georgia.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I screwed up this morning. I thought my haircut appointment was for today. It's for tomorrow morning.

Still, it's somewhat better than if it had been the other way around.

Gah - conference call from hell. The leader keeps trying to say "let's cover the details of that offline" and yet other people continue to discuss minutia. We are only on agenda item 5 out of 19. The ones I care about is 8 and 14. Oy. Please let me stay awake and not miss the parts I need.

I am going home. This hand is stupid. Boss was horrified at its size. I'm horrified at my typo rate. I need either ice or heat. Don't know which.

Post took forever.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That sucks, ita. I'd guess ice and elevation, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
