shrift - do you have any likely assistants to help you with either holding the track or the screws? If not, maybe giving up for the day is good. Ice and ibuprofen. It's not easy holding your arms above your head for long periods like that.

I have given up on the new screws provided, and am using the old screws. Two out of three screws in! I'm going to take a food break after the third.
I taped the track in place after trying to install it with my roommate holding the track, but that was just a disaster waiting to happen as there wasn't enough space for both of us in the laundry/utility area.
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday P-C!
Takoma Park Folk Fest was nice, as it usually is. (and not boiling hot, like it often is)
I am kinda leaning toward this length again: [link]
Hi Sheryl!
Happy birthday, Polter!
Today is my dad's birthday, also, and he wanted to celebrate by going up to Davis and checking out the Bee Haven that opened yesterday. It's pretty awesome - very well labeled, chock full of bees (honey and native, quite a diversity of size) and plants and with nifty artwork. We had it all to ourselves, which was kind of nice.
After that we decided to go wander the arboretum for a bit, which turns out to mostly be a trail along Putah Creek. Very pleasant - spotted many fish, four turtles and a green heron. Also nice and shady, which was much appreciated today.
You look adorable with short hair, msbelle. Also, you look so much like a friend of mine in that picture, I did a double take.
Happy Birthday P-Cow!
I don't have access to msbelle's cute hair photo!
