Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am Hex-AW-stead. 7 girls, 3 boys, they all just left about an hour ago. Party went fairly well. Everyone played well together, cupcakes were a hit, the girls all did their nails, and then the watched Star Wars.

Now I am in a weird head space. Too wired to sleep, too tired to do anything else.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Finally getting to some artwork I've been putting off all week. Mostly because of RSI pain, but also some good old-fashioned procrastination.

Sounds like the Buffistas who weren't/aren't in the hospital ( :-( ) are having good weekends so far.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Does anyone know of a savory energy bar? (a la Luna or Clif bars) It seems like alll the bars are super sweet--chocolate, chocolate mint, chocolate peanut butter, vanilla-coated-yogurt-blueberry. I'd like something...savory. I tried googling, and heard tantalizing hints of a clif bar from a few years ago that was like, cashew curry, but apparently it doesn't exist anymore.

Larabars aren't exactly savory, but they're much less sweet than some of the others. They're just fruit and nuts, with no added sugar.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oooooooh, salt caramel ice cream. My favorite!

Jessica, it was good! Meara, I too was going to say that Larabars are a hit in our family. They are mostly dates and fruit and nuts. So they are still sweet, but still goodish.

Kat! It's obviously more gradual for you, but it was so cool to see Grace moving herself around from chair to chair today. And she's so cute with the signing.

So ridiculous with the gradual. Like I know she's changing, but things are so slow as to be almost non existent. It's not a complaint per se, but just an observation.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

At the airport. Not sure if there are enough Internets on Sunday for it to be worthwhile paying for wifi on the plane.

Probably not. It's a slow and quiet morning.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Kat, the salty caramel is my favorite Jeni's flavor. I've been wanting to try their Cherry Lambic and wildberry lavender.

I'm going to Green Bay in a little while to see some regional roller derby bouts. I need to buy some sticky wheels and some new laces.

Cash, my favorite too. The Cherry Lambic sounded good but also like cough syrup.

Because books.

I just made this morning's second pot of tea. I've already been up and out to take the kids to church.

I sense a nap will be necessary later.
