Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mmm. Beer and ice cream.

I liked the riesling pear. It was deliciously peary. The vanilla was good, the chocolate was good. The spicy peanut was good in small doses only. The salty caramel was salty and not caramelly. Like my anti-ice cream. But the sweet corn berry was like something mama bird regurgitated for you. It was gross.

I think we should share this one with the ice cream maker.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Mmmm, salty ice cream sounds wonderful. That was the best bit of home-churned when the salty ice brine got over the edge into the vanilla.

I've just eaten a dozen figs with cream cheese, I don't need to have ice cream on top of that.

I'm still watching Hoarders, and still cleaning. Just changed the air filter. Good lord, it's not supposed to look like that. Now I'm going to add that task to my Google Calendar, because I'm pretty sure it will help my allergies to change the filter AS DIRECTED.

Because books.

My favorite, learned from my PopPop, was dipping pretzels in vanilla ice cream. Perfect blend of salty and sweet.

Totally. We might be able to save other people. Good thing you didn't get two of those.

Kat! It's obviously more gradual for you, but it was so cool to see Grace moving herself around from chair to chair today. And she's so cute with the signing.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I am the only person present who enjoyed the salty caramel

I don't understand this.

Everyone else liked the Reisling Poached Pear Sorbet.

I don't know about sorbet, but one of Haagen-Daaz's limited flavors this year was poached pear with pecans.

One of the top five things I've ever put in my mouth.

Take that as you will.

Mm. Pretzels in ice cream is why I like chubby hubby. :)

Does anyone know of a savory energy bar? (a la Luna or Clif bars) It seems like alll the bars are super sweet--chocolate, chocolate mint, chocolate peanut butter, vanilla-coated-yogurt-blueberry. I'd like something...savory. I tried googling, and heard tantalizing hints of a clif bar from a few years ago that was like, cashew curry, but apparently it doesn't exist anymore.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I resisted stopping for ice cream on my way home tonight. You people are not helping.
